Rockport Texas is located on the Gulf of Mexico just a short ride from Corpus Christi. It edges on Aransas Bay and is north of Padre Island National Seashore. Attractions like the seashore, and the warm Gulf waters, are indicative of the area’s appealing geographical location and vast popularity. Another highpoint of the area is the beach, which is near restaurants, shops, accommodations, and other attractions, creating a fun and convenient spot for families. On the flip side of Rockport is Copano Bay, where there is another beach and many vacation rentals available. Just 22 minutes north of Rockport, across Aransas Bay, is Goose Island State Park, yet another coastal area to enjoy.

The Aquarium at Rockport Harbor, The Texas Maritime Museum, and 1870’s Fulton Mansion are main points of interest too. Just ten minutes north is the adjacent small time of Fulton, offering more to pair with Rockport’s great attractions.
