Traveling to beaches near Corpus Christi Texas is highly recommended. Stunning Padre Island is an enclave boasting rich coastal scenery and recreation, and the Texas beaches photos you'll get at this destination are some of the best in the state. Take the scenic route around Corpus Christi Bay, stopping at Corpus Christi Beach (on the opposite side of the Harbor) en route for clear water and fine sand. Once at Padre Island National Seashore (twenty minutes from the city center) enjoy more than 60 miles of beaches including Big and Little Shell Beach and Malaquite Beach. Cross Packery Channel to Mustang Island to Port Aransas and many expansive beach areas. There are five miles of beaches within Mustang Island State park alone. That’s not all. Visit popular McGee Beach on Corpus Christi Bay with an easy walk from the hotel area. Adjacent to restaurants and shopping areas is North Beach, near the aquarium, where a wide coast is ideal for playing in the surf.
