Hilton Head Island is located three hours south of Kiawah Island and just 45 minutes from Savannah, Georgia. The beaches of Hilton Head South Carolina meander along twelve island miles blanketed in natural sea grasses, dunes, reclining sand banks, and fringed by gentle surf. The entire beach is open to the public but much of the access is private. Public access locations to beaches including Coligny Beach Park, Driessen Beach Park, Burkes Beach, Folly Field Beach, Islanders Beach Park, and other island beaches, many which are wheelchair accessible.

Countless seaside activities greatly attribute to Hilton Head’s popularity. Recreation is at its finest here, with adventure sports like surfing, windsurfing, water skiing, and sailing.
