Arguably one of the best beach hotels in Hilton Head, the Hilton Head Marriott Resort & Spa enjoys a fantastic oceanfront location and provides its guests with some inviting facilities to take advantage of on the side. Among these facilities is a full-service spa, and golfers will be happy to know that the resort boasts three impressive golf courses. Three swimming pools, a restaurant, and two bars are also among the Hilton Head Marriott facilities, and it should be noted that the resort is known for its sports and recreation program. As for the guest units, there are 513 rooms and suites to select from, and they are all comfortable and well-equipped.
Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort
An especially popular place to stay for families with kids, the Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort (pictured above) definitely caters to youngsters. The resort was designed to resemble a hunting and fishing lodge from the 1940s, and there is definitely a Disney ambience to the place. Cast members are actually known to make appearances on the grounds. Three outdoor pools help to keep any and all guests entertained, and adults can take advantage of the bar and/or fitness center. Two restaurants provide convenient places to eat, and each and every guest unit features a kitchen or a kitchenette at the very least. Studio units are available for those who don’t need tons of space. The larger guest units have between one and three bedrooms and feature washers and dryers.
Hilton Oceanfront Resort
One of the best things about the Hilton Oceanfront Resort is its location. You can find this upscale retreat on a beautiful beach at the end of the main road that cuts through the Palmetto Dunes resort community. Surrounding the resort on three sides are trees, and this lends to its relatively isolated feel. The location isn’t the only thing to like about the Hilton Oceanfront Resort, however. Its rooms are among the largest that you will find at any beach hotel in Hilton Head, and they come well-equipped. Outside of the guest units, Hilton Oceanfront guests will find a lounge that offers nightly entertainment, a steak and seafood restaurant, and a couple of bars. The facility list also includes a spa, a fitness center, not to mention a coin-operated laundry center.
Hilton Head Island Beach Resort
More officially known as the Hilton Head Island Beach & Tennis Resort, this resort has little trouble satisfying tennis enthusiasts. The onsite Tennis Center features ten lighted courts, as well as a pro shop. Tennis lessons can be arranged, and there are special lesson packages for those who are truly serious about improving their game. It’s not all about tennis at the Hilton Head Island Beach Resort, however. The resort sits right on the beach, so guests don’t have to go far to get their feet in the sand, and there are two swimming pools to take a dip in. Other facilities include a billiard room, a fitness center, special areas for picnics and barbecuing, laundry facilities, a convenience store and a 12,000-square-foot conference center. As for the accommodations, they are basically apartment units that feature the kinds of amenities that you mightexpect to find in a typical vacation rental property.
Beachwalk Hotel
The Beachwalk Hotel might not be found right on the beach. Guests only have to go two blocks to get to the sand, however, and the hotel features a seasonal pool area where it is possible to both swim and sunbathe. Other features of the Beachwalk Hotel are its complimentary parking and its free internet access. Guests are also treated to a complimentary continental breakfast. As for the 91 guest units, they are akin to motel rooms in many ways and feature some good amenities. Cable TV, a multi-linephone with voicemail, and a mini fridge are among the amenity highlights. Ultimately, the Beachwalk Hotel is an excellent bet for the budget-minded Hilton Head visitor.
