Many beaches require passes to enjoy a day on the beach; these typically come included with your rental. Other options include public beaches, such as Island State Beach Park, where you can pay to visit for the day. Further north, one of the best beach options is Sandy Hook. Wherever you choose, once you set foot on the beach you will hardly believe this is New Jersey.
