Oahu is the third largest island in Hawaii. The state capital of Honolulu is located on the southeast coast of the island, which also happens to be a hot spot for tourism. Oahu is one of the most popular places for people to visit in Hawaii for many reasons. Places like the North Shore are premiere surfing destinations. People go to hang out on the beaches of North Shore to surf and also to watch the pros doing what they do best. Waikiki Beach is also located on the island of Oahu.
