Kamaole Beach Park is actually divided into three distinctive beach areas. It is located in Kihei, on the southern portion of the west coast of Maui. This is easily one of the most desirable parts of the island, if not for the utterly breathtaking vistas of the sea and tropical foliage, then certainly for the close proximity to some of the most popular beaches on the island. Just a few miles to the south and you will run into picturesque and popular destinations like Wailea Beach, Makena Beach, and Ahihi Bay.
Kamaole I is the biggest and perhaps the most beautiful of the three beaches that comprise the Kamaole Beach Park. The swimming conditions make this a popular choice for families who enjoy gently surf for the kids. This stretch of the beach is ideal for swimming, snorkeling, and sunbathing.
Kamaole II is located further south and also features amazing swimming. Kamaole III is a great beach because locals and tourists mix together, always providing for good times. The beach area is smaller by there is a sprawling, grassy area where people can enjoy picnics and playing. There are lifeguards on duty on the portions of the beach within immediate proximity of the area accommodations. Public facilities include showers, restrooms, and picnic tables. There are no places to rent gear right on the beach but some rental shops within close enough distance of the beach.
