Kauai Resorts

Kauai Resorts
A stay at one of the Kauai resorts is what many Hawaii visitors have in mind, and it is easy to understand why. These resorts sit on world-class beaches, and the majority are also known to offer high levels of convenience and comfort. For those who are interested in something other than the resort experience, there are other kinds of Kauai beach hotels, too.

The Kauai beaches are some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, and this lends to the overall appeal of the Kauai beach hotels. It isn’t even necessary to break the bank when staying close to the water.

Poipu Beach Hotels

The Poipu resort area is largely responsible for attracting Kauai visitors to the island’s south coast. Found within the area are some of the very best Hawaii beaches, and it isn’t difficult to find a terrific place to stay near the sand. The lodging establishments offer plenty in the way of variety, and they include such delightful Kauai resorts as the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa (pictured above) and the Sheraton Kauai Resort. Few luxury beach resorts in Hawaii can rival the Grand Hyatt Kauai when it comes down to it, and the Sheraton Kauai also has little trouble satisfying those who appreciate elevated levels of comfort. As for another Poipu Beach hotel recommendation, the Koa Kea Hotel & Resort is a blissful boutique hotel that sits on one of Poipu’s most beautiful stretches of sand.

Princeville Beach Hotels

Much like the Poipu resort area, the Princeville resort area on the north coast attracts its fair share of visitors. This has something to do with the allure of the north coast beaches and the attractive lodging options. On the luxury side of things, the St Regis Princeville Resort satisfies on so many different levels, and discerning travelers are also likely to feel at home at the rather complete Westin Princeville Ocean Resort Villas. For those on a budget, the Hanalei Bay Resort offers a variety of well-priced rooms and suites. Some of the guest units have kitchens. Since all of the units at the Hanalei Bay Resort are privately owned, they vary considerably in style, so prospective guests are encouraged to consider all of the available options.

Lihue Beach Hotels

Lihue is the main town on the island of Kauai, and visiting beach enthusiasts will be happy to know that there are some lovely strips of sand in the area. Found on or near these strips of sand are some of the most affordable Kauai beach hotels. The Garden Island Inn is just across the street from beautiful Kalapaki Beach, and it certainly offers rates that are more than reasonable. In fact, it might just be the best overall beach hotel value on the island. For Lihue visitors looking for luxury, the impressive Kauai Marriott Resort & Beach Club is likely to be a much better fit. It sits right on renowned Kalapaki Beach, and the list of amenities is long. Among the highlights is a 36-hole golf course that was designed by Jack Nicklaus.

Waimea Beach Hotels

Waimea figures as a stop on many Kauai itineraries. This has a lot to do with the fact that the stunning Waimea Canyon is found in this western area. Complementing the canyon are some splendid beaches, and while the beach hotel count is relatively low, there are some satisfying seaside lodging options. Waimea Plantation Cottages is the area’s best beachfront hotel. It offers wonderful cottage units. Kitchens come standard in the cottages, and each features a bathroom and a private lanai, among other things. Inn Waimea should also be considered when planning a Waimea escape. It offers inviting suites in its four-unit inn, and prospective guests can also interest themselves in the hotel’s four cottage rentals. The main inn is just a block from the beach, and the cottages aren’t too far from the water either.
