Pensacola Beaches

Pensacola Beaches
Pensacola beaches provide endless fun and activities for visitors and offer a large variety of guest accommodations, restaurants, and places to shop and be entertained. Pensacola Florida is the westernmost city on the Panhandle, situated on the Pensacola Bay, which in turn flows into the Gulf of Mexico. This is a completely family-friendly environment that offers activities that will please people young and old, from fishing and boating to diving and swimming. The bustling seaport and active city provide a fine backdrop for the miles of Florida beaches, many of which provide comprehensive public facilities, lifeguards, as well as beach services and amenities.

Pensacola Beach

Pensacola Beach is located on one of the longest barrier island in the entire world: Santa Rosa Island. It is alive with attractions and visitors and is popular in large part because of its gorgeous natural beaches and laid-back atmosphere. There is a convivial feel at many of the casual beach bars and eateries where you will find heaping after heaping of fresh seafood. Lifeguards are on active duty throughout this beach and there are a range of public facilities such as changing rooms, showers, and restrooms. Families who are packing lightly and are in need of gear and equipment rental will find places aplenty along this beach that make available everything you need for surfing, kayaking, snorkeling and diving, and much more.  There are many vacation rentals along Pensacola Beach, as well as a host of guest accommodations in the form of hotels and resorts.

Park East

Park East is another fine example of the beautiful Pensacola beaches that occupy this city. It is located less than a mile and a half from the Portofino Resort and Spa. Park East offers everything you could want in the way of beach services and amenities, including a full range of public facilities. Parking, gear and equipment rental, and plenty of places to eat and drink are all within easy reach. Just as is the case with most of the beaches in Pensacola, the sand and surf are ideal for swimming, sunbathing, snorkeling, and a variety of other fun outdoor activities. Lifeguards are on duty.

Perdido Key

Located at 15500 Perido Key Drive, this relatively small beach provides a fine retreat for families and people in general who seek a relaxing and restful vacation. There are a host of hotels and other accommodations, including a good number of vacation rentals. These rentals come in all sizes and styles, accommodating trips of all kinds. A one-bedroom villa may be perfect for a couple on their honeymoon, while a larger house may be just what is needed for a large family. Perido Key offers a little bit of everything.

Casino Beach

Casino Beach is named after the casino that was the first tourist attraction in Pensacola Florida. This is a tourist-centric beach that offers a variety of places to eat, shop, and drink, as well as public facilities, parking, lifeguards, and gear and equipment rental for water sports. The white sand and calm surf are great for families with small children and the qualified lifeguards on duty provide an extra bit of confidence as they play in the sand.

Other beaches of interest in Pensacola include Dog Beach, Johnson Beach, and Opal Beach, but no matter where you choose to spend your time in the sun in this area, you are sure to have a relaxing and amazing time.
