Boynton Beach

Boynton Beach
Boynton Beach Florida is located in Palm Beach County Florida on the eastern coast of the state. It is a popular vacation destination in the MiamiFort Lauderdale-West Palm Beach Metropolitan Area. It is situated right across from the Intracoastal Highway from the coastline at Ocean Ridge. This is a destination in an affluent part of southeast Florida where visitors will enjoy access to private beaches, spas and fine dining restaurants, as well as many options for guest accommodations, including luxury hotels, resorts, and boutique accommodations.

These Florida beaches themselves are very clean, safe, and offer a wide variety of activities for people of all ages and areas of interest. Whether you are interested in rest and relaxation or hitting the surf to enjoy everything from jet skiing to surf fishing, you will find it here. Lifeguards patrol the beach, there are places to rent gear and equipment for the above mentioned activities, and you will also find a full range of public facilities. These include changing rooms, showers, restrooms, concessions, and parking. Boynton Beach Oceanfront Park is possibly the best beach in the area and is just off of the A1A, but other popular spots include Gulf Stream Park (4489 N. Ocean Blvd), Ocean Inlet Park (6990 N. Ocean Blvd), and Ocean Ridge Hammock Park (6620 N. Ocean Blvd).

Beaches are, of course, located all up and down the Atlantic shore here, but also along the Intracoastal Waterway. The Intracoastal Park can be a great place to check out if you want a place to kick back and relax or if you have kids as there is some playground equipment here.

Just off the shores of Boynton Beach are some of the best dive sites of the entire eastern seaboard, and since these spots are not well known, they are full of healthy and well-preserved marine species and plants. Another perk of the area for those who like to venture offshore of their beaches is that some of the best deep sea fishing can be found here. Boynton Inlet is the closest community to the Gulf Stream so deep sea fishers can be out in deep water within just a few minutes.

Many fine restaurants and a great selection of convivial beach bars with great views line the beach as well as towering, luxury hotels. Shopping can be a fun activity in this area as well at Boynton Beach Mall and many shops and restaurants along Congress Avenue as well.

You will not be disappointed with the accommodating surf, the powdery sand, or the fun environment around town. It is certainly not the cheapest destination to vacation in Florida, but it is indeed one where you will enjoy all kinds of fun activities and lavish accommodations.
