Florida Beach Maps
Florida is one of the top vacation destinations in the world, and cities such as Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and Daytona Beach are known for their wide array of hotels and plenty of beach space. Miami, for instance, is known for having some of the best beach hotels in Florida, as well as plenty that are more centrally located in the city but still have easy access to the beaches. Well-known brands such as InterContinental and Sheraton are frequently found around the state, in Miami and beyond, and there are also plenty of locally owned individual bed and breakfasts, particularly in destinations such as Key West.
The long barrier island along Florida’s Atlantic Coast adds to the volume of beachfront property available and also sets up dual cities, such as Miami (on the mainland) and Miami Beach (on the barrier island). There is a similar phenomenon along parts of the Gulf Coast as well; the best-known destination includes Panama City and nearby Panama City Beach. Having a good map and some familiarity with the local geography will help travelers make sure they’re picking just the right hotel for their Florida beach vacation, whichever part of the state they plan to visit.
