The words “Southern California” have become just about synonymous with sunshine and excellent beaches. This entire section of the state, from Santa Barbara to Venice Beach and beyond, is full of golden stretches of sand that are perfect for a relaxing vacation. With so many options for beaches, the only difficult decision will be choosing one that matches your personality.
You could easily spend a lifetime exploring the various gorgeous beaches in this section of California. One beach that is constantly a favorite is Zuma Beach, one of the largest beaches in the area and the most recognizable of any Malibu beach pictures. Constantly rated one of the prettiest beaches in California, Zuma Beach is known for its wide stretches of sand and great surf.
Many people wouldn’t think a trip to Southern California was complete without visiting Santa Monica. Beyond the beautiful beaches and the tall palm trees, Santa Monica is also known for its entertaining boardwalk.
